A semi-permanent procedure that uses absorbable surgical threads made of poliglecaprone (not PDO threads), designed to lift and redirect the sternocleidomastoid (SCM) muscle. This technique repositions the muscle group along an anatomical vector that enhances neck elongation and defines the mandibular contour.

During the procedure, a new anatomical anchor point is created for the SCM, promoting elevation of the submental region and improvement of the cervico-facial angle.

Poliglecaprone threads are absorbed through hydrolysis within approximately 12 to 18 months, allowing sufficient time for muscular reorganization to be stabilized by fibroblast-induced fibrosis, resulting in a natural, progressive, and long-lasting lifting effect.
